Who we are

Craft Systems Group Ltd (“we”, “us”) is registered in England and Wales, company number 17097688. We trade as Craft Systems and, for our leasing business, as LeaseCraft. For the personal data described in this notice we are the data controller.

What this website collects

If you send a message through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, and the content of your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it loads its fonts and other files from our own server rather than from third parties. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, so that the site can be run and kept secure.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your details to read and reply to your enquiry, and if you go on to work with us, to set up and deliver that work. Our legal basis is legitimate interests, in responding to people who contact us about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked to hear from us, and we do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

Enquiries reach us by email, so the providers that host our website and our email process them on our behalf. We may also share data with professional advisers, or where the law requires it. Where a provider is outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards for the transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them, and for up to 24 months after our last contact. If we start working together, we keep the records we need for the work and for legal and accounting purposes.

Work we do for clients

When we build or run a system for a client that involves their customers’ or staff members’ data, the client is normally the controller and we act as their processor, under a written agreement. This notice does not cover that data.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to our use of it. To do any of these, email us at the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
